TriXstar - Azadi EP (Boomrush Productions)

By Jah Rebel

Azadi Azadi

One day, we will all be free
Free to be
Zan, zendegi, azadi

Azadi (Azadi) Azadi
Azadi
Azadi

When I come home from a long day of work
12 hours in big mad world
Take off the cloths and get rid of the stress
Light up some incense I'm feeling so blessed

Nobody can take away
My freedom and my peace
And their bad energies
They just can't get to me
I'm so free
And I can just be me
Free to follow my dreams
Free like I was meant to be
And I'm complete
Good and bad live in me
You know balance is the key
Foundation of liberty

Azadi (Azadi) Azadi
Azadi
Azadi

Nobody tell me what to wear, tell me how to talk
You better shut your mouth if you don't like the way I walk
And don't you dare to touch me if I don't give my consent
Mi say my body my choice  and that will I defend
But I am well aware that at the end of every day
I can lock my doors, stay inside, and hide away
But many woman still don't have this opportunity
So I will not shut up until they all are free
Free from violence in their homes
Free from fears when they walk alone
Free from rape and oppression, senseless aggression
Free to choose for their own
Free to speak out and to be heard
Free to get the education they deserve
Free to live how they want and to be safe and sound
Free to choose for their own

Azadi (Azadi) Azadi
Azadi
Azadi

(of "Vrouw, leven, vrijheid!") scanderen:

Bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang beng
Another woman died in the streets of Iran
Bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang beng?
Fighting for freedom

Living inna country where we fight for equality
To wear what we like and be who we wanna be
Coming from a country where you can't talk freely
Where you can die if you don't wear it properly
And when I say, I don't wanna go on holidays
In a place, where they took the human right away
You get so vex and tell me these are things I cannot say
And while you preaching another woman killed again

Bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang beng?
Another woman died in the streets of Iran
She's not the first, and she won't be the last one
Because the people are fighting for freedom
Bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang beng?
Another woman died in the streets of Iran
She's not the first, and she won't be the last one
Fighting for freedom

Dokhtaraye Iran zaminam (The daughters of Iran, I am the daughter of the land)
Iran nistam vali Irani hastam (I am not Iranian, but I am Iranian)
Iran to vatanam, janam, madaram (Iran is my homeland, my life, my mother)
Hala daram khafeh misham (Now I am suffocating)
Az salhaye chizi nagoftan (From years of silence
Hala faryad mizanam (Now I scream)
Zan, zendegi, azadi (Woman, life, freedom)

Bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang beng
My mother worried about the words that I sing
Bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang beng
Far away from home, but still afraid of the regime

We cut the hair like we cut our chains
Burning the scarfs like we burn their ways
Healing the scars covering the pain
What is happening in Iran, is so insane

Bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang beng?
Another woman died in the streets of Iran
She's not the first, and she won't be the last one
Because the people are fighting for freedom
Bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang beng
Another woman died in the streets of Iran
She's not the first, and she won't be the last one
Fighting for freedom

Bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang beng
My mother worried about the words that I sing
Bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang beng
Far away from home, but still afraid of the regime
Bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang beng
Bang bang bang bang bang bang bang bang beng

Strijdvaardige protest-EP, die ook los van het inhoudelijke stevig overeind blijft!
