Sugahspank! & Blend Mishkin - Paint Everything White (Cast-A-Blast)

De eerste werd geboren in Piraeus bij Athene als Georgia Kalafati en experimenteerde aanvankelijk met een brede mix aan genres gaande van hip-hop, soul en funk tot garagerock, rapcore, nu-metal en zelf wat jazz. In 2004 vervoegt ze de rangen van de Griekse funkband Sugah Galore en twee jaar later richt ze samen met de Atheense producers George Mantas aka. Blend Mishkin en Spilios Palov het Cast-A-Blast label op.

Op deze 'Paint Everything White', een titel die verwijst naar met een propere lei starten, een aanstekelijke mix van reggae (opener 'Yummy Man'), hip-hop ('I Grow'), soul (het uitstekende titelnummer 'Paint Everything White', 'Lost Cause', 'Joy And Happiness') en een vleugje jazz ('So I'd Be Ready For You'). Als er echter één nummer uit de tracklist een speciale vermelding verdient, dan moet het 'Daughter' zijn. Sugahspank! komt in eigen land op voor vrouwenrechten, en in het nummer beschrijft ze op militante wijze de wereld die ze haar dochter wel en niet toewenst:
