Various Artists - Heavy Roots: Tiempo Roots (Evidence Music)

Heavy Roots is a collective of producers, composers and beat makers from Valencia, Spain, led by Daniel 'Gio' Aguado. For 'Tiempo Roots' they compiled 11 of their productions and invited a bunch of well-known names from Europe, the United States and Jamaica to deliver the vocals.

Denham Smith, Sr. Wilson and Tianobless provide some Spanish vibes with 'I And I Riddim Medley' and surprisingly so does Micah Shemaiah, who can be heard in the title track 'Tiempo Roots', but our personal favorites from the track list are Exco Levi's 'Freedom Come', Royal Blu's 'Dark Skin', 'Guilty' by Konshens and Onton, and finally the fantastic 'Love Doctor' by George Palmer. Like Skarra Mucci concludes: 'Turn It Up Loud' and enjoy 'Tiempo Roots'!
