Here and there a well-known riddim pops up, like in opener 'Stand Up And Fight' by Los Angeles based Mr. SupriZe, for which John Holt's classic Can I Change My Mind riddim was recycled, Talio's 'America America', in which we recognized Dennis Brown's 'Stop Fighting', or even closing track 'Only A Prayer' by Ilano and Ras Charmer, which revives Black Uhuru's 'Solidarity'.

The only song that seems somewhat out of place in the track list is 'Not For Sale' by Denise Weeks, a single mom who, in an attempt to support her children, started singing in the New York subway, but gained international fame thanks to her participation in the American version of The X Factor back in 2013. Not a bad song at all, but as the only r&b-flavored track amongst a series of conscious tunes, it does stand out. Nearly faultless and highly enjoyable compilation!
