Andy Garcia aka AD-Roots is a new talent in the Spanish reggae scene, until now mainly making a name for himself MC-ing in the Spanish sound system for sounds like Raggatack (Girona) and Suruma Sound System (Barcelona).

Garcia is mostly known for singing in his native tongue Spanish, but for this 3 track 'Music Is The Healing' EP, he opted for English instead. For rootsy opener and title track 'Music Is The Healing', AD-Roots invited horn section Classy Horns (Roman Sanchez and Oriol Escolano). 'Inna Babylon Time' has a somewhat similar vibe, but for closing track 'Come & Get Wild' the singer goes rub-a-dub. Excellent calling card from a promising Catalan reggae talent!
