Various Artists - Reggae Sunjam (Dub-O-Phonic)

In collaboration with Easy Going Productions and Suzie Selecta, the festival is organized by Dub-O-Phonic and the latter put this compilation together featuring a selection of the artists (mostly local Greek and Cypriot acts like Sensijam, Medred and Dub Riots, but also Dutch band Bagjuice, Argentine Negritage or the English Red Star Martyrs) who played at Reggae Sunjam. Striking differences with previous Dub-O-Phonic releases are that for once 'Reggae Sunjam' is a paid download, and the fact the track list seems to focus a lot less on instrumental dub, but also features vocal cuts like opener 'Uhuru' (Sensijam) or Bagjuice's 'Don't Give Up'. Excellent souvenir for those who were present at the festival, but also a perfectly nice dubby compilation for amateurs of the Dub-O-Phonic label.
