For the songs on this compilation Sekkle & Cease called on a variety of international producers and MCs. For the atypical opener 'Whole World' (somewhere between reggae and EDM) we still remain in the US with Californian Kush Arora (albeit he invited Jamaican MC Peppery along for the ride), and 'Territory Dub', in which we recognized a whistling melody from the soundtrack of an old spaghetti western, is an American production as well, this time by 6Blocc from Los Angeles. For the industrial stepper 'Broken Law Dub' we need to head to Freiburg in Germany, home to Digital Steppaz. The UK is also represented with the excellent 'Brimstone Dub' by Londoners Vibration Lab. Not all productions on 'Alpha Boys Vol. 1' were to or taste ('Rise To Dub' by Brummie producer Goosensei, Method Sound's 'Breaded Dub'), but this compilation remains a charity album, so if solid, at times rather industrial and experimental sounding dub is your thing, be generous and purchase this album.
