Simultaneously with the release of his 2015 'Général Indigo' album, Pierpoljak also presented his own Garvey Drive label. Until now only the French singer's own albums were released on Garvey Drive, this 4 track 'Williams Brutus' EP, now being the first exception.

Williams Brutus is a singer of Haitian descent, with a sound somewhere between pop-reggae (opener 'I Tried'), world-pop meets hip-hop ('You Can't Stop' feat. Beat Assailant) and r&b ('When I'm With You'), and even though there's nothing wrong with his version of Cyndi Lauper's 'Girls Just Want To Have Fun', a man singing this girls anthem is just a bit strange.
