AMJ Collective - Believe EP (Astar)

The jazz and world music influences from 'Sky Blue Love' seem to have disappeared, but once again 'Believe' is distributed by Astar,  the label that's also been home to Afro-Colombian diva Toto La Momposina for many years now, resulting in AMJ linking up with the granddaughters of the singer for the vocal portion of this EP. Hearing the voice of Oriana Melissa in title track 'Believe', we couldn't help but thinking of Hollie Cook. Apart from the three vocal cuts, 'Believe' also offers 5 excellent dubs, once again the work of Robert Smith aka RSD.
