Reggae.be is getting an upgrade

Nothing much will change on the outside. The familiar lay-out and colour scheme will be maintained for the most part. The upgrade mainly involves the back office of the system and a broader use for our event calendar and banner system. Moreover, there will finally be music on Reggae.be with embedded clips and tracks from YouTube, SoundCloud and MixCloud.

We chose not to transfer the visitor accounts from the "old" website so those who want to enter a competition or post an event will have to make a new profile. The calendar itself offers a myriad of new opportunities and the same goes for the banner system where organisers or other partners can now build their own banner.

Reggae.be has been around since 2002 and has accumulated massive archives on the way, the only reliable source of information on reggae and the like in Belgium. The transfer of all those vast pages of text is still ongoing, so apart from the 2016 articles, for now you'll only be able to consult a part of our huge archive. Once the rest will have been published, you will be able to pull up any article via the search function (as it should be). The rest of the website should be fully functional. If you still happen to run into any technical error or bug, however, you can report it to [email protected]. 

This upgrade would not have been possible without the loyal visitors of our website and more specifically the generous donors of our crowdfunding campaign earlier this year. We have made a Thank You (W)all for them, as a token of our eternal gratitude. Forward ever, backward never!
