As the title implies, the tracks on this compilation date from the period 1966-1969, a time when Derrick Harriott ran his record store at 125 King Street in Kingston. But of course it was also the golden era of rocksteady. In the track list some of the hits Harriott scored as a vocalist ('Do I Worry', 'It's All Right' and especially the magnificent 'The Loser'), but also classics by duo Keith & Tex ('Stop That Train', 'Tonight', 'Hypnotizing Eyes'), a number of instrumentals by trumpeter Bobby Ellis and finally a few of hard to find tracks by a certain Junior Soul, a singer who would later become famous as Junior Murvin. Auditory gold for rocksteady lovers!
