Dubamine - String Up The Sound EP (Dub Stuy Records)

In 2014 the New York label Dub Stuy Records already introduced us to Brooklyn based Tour De Force (or Jay Spaker aka Double Tiger and DJ Q-Mastah, born Quoc Pham, the duo behind Dub Stuy), but the label now also welcomes Dubamine, a producer from Santa Cruz, California.

Dubamine presents 'String Up The Sound', a 4 track Ep for which he collaborated with Brother Culture, Carlton Livingston and Blackout JA. It's especially 'Nicodemus', the track with the latter (whose voice reminded us somewhat of that of Buju Banton), that impressed us the most.
