Rebelution - Falling Into Place (Easy Star Records)

For their fifth long player, Californian band Rebelution once again joined forces with Michael Goldwasser's Easy Star Records label.

However, this time, the poppy lovers tunes of Eric Rachmany and his mates, couldn't quite convince us. Fortunately, the track list of 'Falling Into Place' also contains songs like opener 'Know It All', or the dreamy 'Mirage', and of course there's also still ganja tune 'Inhale Exhale', a successful duet with the seemingly ubiquitous Protoje. That being said, for the most part 'Falling Into Place' sounds like love reggae for teens. Better next time?
