DVoyce - The Beginning EP (Soundalize It! Records)

DVoyce started out as a male model, but finally succumbing to the music virus, he entered a course at the meanwhile famous Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts. As his shining examples in music Stewart, whose vocal style reminded us somewhat of Kabaka Pyramid, mentions artists like Jon Legend, Beres Hammond and Tarrus Riley, adding: "I would say if music is what you love, you need to emulate artistes that have accomplished a lot in their careers.". These days yours truly isn't quickly impressed with a release anymore, but as far as we're concerned this aptly titled 'The Beginning' EP is a smash hit! The EP counts 7 tracks, with not one disappointing, and closing track 'We Are Made As One', a song over a revamp of the Skylarking riddim, as the proverbial icing on the cake. Check this out!
