On 'Peaceful Warriors', the band's second album, the 4 vocalists (Bertrand Rise, Michael Monteleone, Simone Codazzi and Alice Yeoue) effortlessly alternate between English, Italian, German and, just the once, even French, and that often even within the same song. Musically Shanti Powa certainly doesn't just limit itself to just reggae, as on 'Peaceful Warriors' influences from funk rock ('One Day', 'Be Wise', 'New Dawn', 'Warning', 'Powa To The People'), ska (opener and title track 'Peaceful Warriors') and hip-hop (the enchanting 'Solo Una Storia', opening with a long mesmerizing instrumental intro on acoustic guitar) can also be heard, often with Jonathan Klauser's didgeridoo in a supporting role. If you dig positive energy and heavy guitars, 'Peaceful Warriors' is you're kind of album.
