Afro Omega - American Ital (Rebel Sound Records)

The fact not all American reggae necessarily needs to come from the East or West coast, is proven by Salt Lake City, Utah-based Afro Omega, a band around duo Bronte James aka Bronte Omega and Elisa Sofia aka Miss Omega, who're also couple in real life.

Going at it since 2003, Afro Omega is already quite successful in the US and 'American Ital' is already the band's fourth album. On 'American Ital' you'll just a well find poppy love songs ('She Blocked Me', 'Rebel Girl', 'Climbing') as conscious tracks ('Call On Rastafari', the catchy 'Congo I Dread') or ganja tunes ('Cool Out My Mind'). Another excellent supplement in our ever expanding catalog of American reggae bands.
