Bobby Hustle - It's The Hustle (Self-published)

'It's The Hustle' is the long player debut of Robert Spenser aka Bobby Hustle, a singjay from Seattle and, even though Italian Bizarri Records and German Royal Order Music also each signed for a track, the production of the album was largely in the hands of fellow Seattleites Dan Grossman and Michael Gore (Loud City Productions).

With the exception of closing track 'No Commitment', with an intro and riddim clearly meant as a tribute to the digital dancehall era of the nineteen eighties, and 'Defend Them', a duet with Exco Levi, the two aforementioned tracks differ from the more poppy sounding Loud City Productions produced songs on 'It's The Hustle'. For ganja tune 'Smoke Some Ganja' Bizarri even invited Sizzla and 'Life Is What You Make It' drew our attention thanks to its dubby melodica riddim. Yet another American reggae talent to keep an eye on!
