For this dub version of last year's 'Entre Les Lignes' Danakil once more joined forces with producer Manjul (also responsible for 2012's 'Echos Du Dub').
He added his own touch in the form of an intriguing sauce of West African instruments and street sounds from the Malian capital Bamako (still the location of his Humble Ark studio). Manjul's approach causes 'Entre Les Lignes Dub' to sound significantly different from the original, and it's exactly that which yours truly appreciates in a good dub album!
Together with Jah Shakespear, one of the founders of Reggae.be, he first started as a critic and a reporter before in the end of 2014 becoming editor in chief. Divides his time between his two passions: music and Haile Selassie.
