Umpteenth Grammy for Ziggy Marley

For the umpteenth time a Marley won this year's Grammy for Best Reggae album. You had probably heard already, but we do need to vent our disappointment. For laureate Ziggy Marley it was already his third Grammy as a solo artist.

It's not that we have a problem with Ziggy (or any other Marleys), but his 'Fly Rasta' was definitely not the best reggae album of 2014. We do blame the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences for lack of knowing their business. The fact that with the clever 'Amid The Noise and Haste' of Soldiers Of Jah Army finally an American reggae band was nominated, makes it even more of a shame that they went for the traditional Marley scenario.
Better luck next year? We are not convinced!
