In 2013 Jahcoustix released 'Frequency', an excellent album the German reggae recorded in collaboration with Austrian Irievibrations Records. Blood is thicker than water though, and bearing his stage name in mind Dominik Haas now presents this acoustic version of that same album.

The track list of 'Frequency' was complemented with a number of previously unreleased songs, including a fantastic dub version of 'Controller' with Apple Gabriel by Syrix of Irievibrations Records and an equally strong dub of 'Strong Man' with Horace Andy by Umberto Echo. Where acoustic reggae albums are concerned, 'Acoustic Frequency' belongs to the absolute top. For the versions on this album the instrumentation was reduced to acoustic guitar, percussion, Rhodes and Hammond organs and really out there are the horn parts which Jahcoustix emulated using his own voice! Absolute must-have album!
