Shanty - Leave Me Out EP (Self-published)

For the recording of 'Leave Me Out' Shanty head to the Sawmills Studio in Cornwall, a location mae famous by the cream of the British rock-scene (Oasis, The Verve, Supergrass, The Stone Roses...). The band members describe Shanty as a "seven piece party-reggae collective" and with this EP, they wanted to deliver a solid calling card. Producing four distinctively different sounding tracks (title song 'Leave Me Out' is a great lovers rock tune, 'One More' sounds rather dubby and 'Rise Up' is a sturdy up-tempo roots track) and with the horn section of the band (Ross Moore, Kenneth Brown, trombone and trumpet) playing a prominent role, they certainly succeeded.
