Bipolarbass - Music For Loud Ears (Taruja Recordings)

By Jah Rebel

All the way from faraway New Zealand we received 'Music For Loud Ears' by Bipolarbass, the alter ego of Tom Cadillac (bass and organ) and Ed Salik (drums, sampler), two do-it-yourselfers from Auckland.

The duo started out as an experimental electronics collective in 2006, but meanwhile has created its very own ambient-dub universe. With 'Come Back To Your Senses' the duo already launched a first long player in 2009, now followed by this sequel, 'Music For Loud Ears'. Those among you, who, like yours truly, enjoy putting on an atmospheric dub album just before bedtime, should also give this New Zealander production a chance.
