Burnt - Headlamp (Self-published)

Both the band's lineup and musical approach have undergone changes over the years and these days Burnt describe themselves as a band playing a mix of reggae, ska, punk and hip-hop. Thanks to their collaboration with English producer and multi-instrumentalist Nathan McCoy aka Rivel and the frequent use of the melodica, the reggae tracks on 'Headlamp' received a UK vibe though. Add to that a few more hip-hop influences tracks (hip-hop lovers should definitely check out the great ode to marijuana 'Leaflife') and you end up with a sound we couldn't immediately compare with another band. Original album by an American reggae band with a distinct identity.
