Rashani - What They Want From Me (Zamani Records/Self-published)

We'd preferred to be able to offer you a lot of information on Rashani, but more than the fact this do-it-yourselfer hails from Grenada and is currently residing in Brooklyn, New York, we could unfortunately not uncover.

A bit strange for an artist who's already released close to a dozen albums. Rashani developed a distinctive sound with solid bass grooves standing out and the sixteen tracks on 'What They Want From Me' have somewhat of a UK steppers feel, making Rashani, as far as yours truly is concerned, the ideal invitee as a vocal guest for a heavy dub night.
