Rapha Pico - Roots EP (Self-published)

Raphael Pocorni is the son of Martinican singer and musician Djeynah Delbety, but among Benelux reggae aficionados he's probably better known as Rapha Pico.

For this 5 track EP (four vocal tracks and one dub) Rapha traveled to Jamaica to record at the Tuff Gong Studio in Kingston. The result is a professional-sounding roots EP, with title track 'Roots' slightly standing out. Excellent calling card for this young reggae artist who was definitely the legitimate winner of this year's Benelux Reggae Contest!
