IRIE FM LIVE FROM REGGAE GEEL

By Jah Shakespear

Ron Muschette, Jamaica's most popular radio DJ, will this year be MC on the main stage of Reggae Geel. In the run-up to the festival Muschette will broadcast his coveted morning show (Jamaican time!) from the festival grounds. A world premiere!

Ron Muschette's Wake Up Call, broadcast daily between 6 and 10 on Irie FM, isn't only listened to in Jamaica. Loads of people worldwide tune in online as well. There's no better barometer of the hits and vibes in Jamaica than this happily pimped radio show, always a celebration of music, interviews, silly features and spontaneous interventions by Muschette himself, toaster-cum-comedian-cum-presenter.

Ron Muschette does virtually everything himself,  and that won't be any different in Geel. But it is definitely a premiere, Irie FM broadcasting live from Europe, at the oldest reggae festival, between 1 and 5 pm, morning in Jamaica (!). And with the festival app of Reggae Geel  everyone will be able to tune in for free. Along with hundreds of thousands of Jamaicans and reggae fans all over the world.

REGGAE GEEL FESTIVAL APP

A novelty in Geel. The app gives you access to all information about the artists, the timetable and the festival grounds. This way you can also still win a few free tickets for Reggae Geel.
OK, I guess now we've told you everything you need to know about the annual Beljam high mass of reggae. I hope to see you all there for what will no doubt be one of the best editions ever. Translation: Rudi
