Even though 'Dub Vibrations 1 & 2' and the 'Three Little Birds' EP aren't really related, both releases show striking similarities in terms of content and the philosophy of the labels, Maltese Dubkey and Belgian Reggaedub.be, behind them: both labels work according to the so-called creative-common principle, allowing artists to reach a wider audience by offering their albums as a free download, and both the 'Dub Vibrations 1 & 2' compilations on Reggaedub.be and the 'Three Little Birds' EP on the Dubkey label focus on instrumental dub with a UK stepper flavor.
