War ina East Soundclash 2014: and in the end the Germans win!

For the occasion Herbalize It bundled up forces with the Berlin promoter SuperLock, hence the move from the Dutch Enschede to the German capital. In the famous Yaam club  600 fans from around the world showed up. Friday 'party juggling' Saturday international soundclash & Sunday a dancehall queen contest : beautiful poster. Party jugglers service were Herbalize It (NL), Supersonic Sound (Ger.), City Lock (Ger.), Komposti (Finland) and Still A Lion (Portugal).

For the clash volunteered: - Warrior Sound (Ger), the one man army from Wuppertal, the last few years working on an impressive push and the only continental European on the podium. - Kosmik Movements (NY) , the reigning champion who also has a strong European fan base since last year. - Natural Affairs, the first UK sound that takes part in War Ina East, with their specific island mentality. - Burn Down (Japan) and Xixgon (Trinidad & Tobago), both relatively unknown to the general public. A packed Yaam crowned Warrior Sound to deserved winner, 'War Ina East' trophy remains for a year on the European mainland. Xixgon resisted until the Dub fi Dub but the clever combination of good MC lyrics and right tunes  eventually proved decisive. However, a surprising finale, which once again proves that such a sound clash remains an unpredictable event.

After this sold out and outstanding edition, we can assume that the 'War Ina East Soundclash' will appear again on the agenda in 2015.
