With the falling of the leaves we also have to say goodbye to a couple of Jamaican reggae heroes; last month The Melodians' Tony Brevett already passed away and on November 5 Lloyd Robinson also left us.
Robinson was a long-time member of The Tartans (see Cedric Myton) and together with Devon Russell he formed Lloyd and Devon. He collaborated with both Coxsone Dodd and with Duke Reid (and a bunch of other producers), but it's mainly that one song, the immortal Harry J produced 'Cuss Cuss' recorded at Studio one, for which the worldwide reggae community is eternally grateful. If you want to read more on Robinson, best check out this interview dating from 2012.
Lloyd Robinson died age 69.

Together with Jah Shakespear, one of the founders of Reggae.be, he first started as a critic and a reporter before in the end of 2014 becoming editor in chief. Divides his time between his two passions: music and Haile Selassie.
