Ital vital: how Brina wants to liberate our seeds and food from Monsanto & co

Brina has released a very beautiful album last year, and she could be seen on stage a couple of times in 2013, for instance as support-act of Jimmy Cliff and The Congos. Her lyrics expose a strong connection with nature and her fellow-creatures, with the 'ital livity' of the Rastafarian.

This tune in particular calls on us to support Dr. Vandana Shiva, the most important advocate of the battle against the monopolization of the seed industry. In Brina's words: "Once we knew where our food came from.  We planted what we ate and we ate what we cultivated. Life starts with seeds and now the big companies want to seize them." Or in the words of Dr. Shiva herself: "Corporate control of seeds is control over our lives, our food and our freedom." For anyone who would doubt the importance of this battle.
