For long DYnamic, a Brussels based artist from Mauritanian origin, dreamt of collaborating with one of his all time favourite Jamaican artists. This has now happened with the 'The Bridge' as the song and video both have been recorded in collaboration with no other than Sizzla!
"When Sizzla performed at Dour and the Ancienne Belgique, we had the opportunity to approach him with the idea of working together on this project. We know he´s open to giving support to young emerging artists especially when they´re from African descent. I´ve waited a bit before putting things in action as I really wanted to be sure everything was prepared to the fullest before I approached Sizzla" says Dynamic. "We spent a lot of time choosing the right riddim as we wanted to have a solid track that was both levelled with the status of Sizzla as an artist as well as original in sound".
"The song highlights the unity between both countries and the courage it takes to overcome the rigors of everyday life, to achieve your goals and to realize your dreams" explains Dynamic. "I´ve recorded my part in France and Sizzla finished his in Jamaica. After the vocal parts were finished I went there to shoot the video which was done by the Nordia Rose Label. Jamaicans really have high energy and no less than ten days later the whole thing was ready".
"The album 'Therapy' is a coproduction with the French Label LGSR and will soon be released. LGSR showed great support as they made sufficient funds available to make the song and video"
DYnamic also collaborated with Kromestar for his next album, whose main influence is hip hop.
