Reggae.be: new design, familiar vibes!

It was especially on smartphones - increasingly the first screen on which you visit our site - that the old design fell seriously short. From now on, all articles should be much easier accesible and more enjoyable to read on your phone as well.

We've also introduced filters to make it easier to find exactly what you're looking for.

For event organisers, we'd like to point out that profiles and login details from the old site will continue to work as before. Events can be added via the agenda page, but everything else, including banner rentals, is also bundled under your profile on your profile page.

And since we have your attention, we'd also like to take this opportunity to make two appeals.

First of all, we'd like to encourage event organisers to give away one or more free tickets whenever possible. If you're organising a free event, you can of course ignore this, but paid events featuring a competition consistently receive significantly more attention on our social media channels.

New is that you can now choose yourself when you'd like the competition to end. For practical reasons, however, this can still be no later than two weeks before the event takes place.

Secondly, we'd also like to use this opportunity to make another attempt at bringing some new blood into our editorial team. Reggae.be is always looking for people with a good way with words and a genuine passion for reggae, dub or dancehall. Interested? Then please do get in touch!
