Just as he did for 'Downton Sessions', for this 'All Fruits Ripe' Fruits Records producer Mathias Liengme once again dug into the recordings he made between 2015 and 2025 with Jamaican veterans such as Leroy 'Horsemouth' Wallace (drums), Scully Simms (percussion) and Dalton Browne (guitar).
For the vocal side of things, this time around he called upon Micah Shemaiah, Keith Rowe, Var, Rod Taylor, Hezron and the lesser-known Itral Ites.
The latter, hailing from Shewberry in Portland, is the nephew of Mikey Melody and with 'No More Will I Roam' immediately delivers one of the highlights of 'All Fruits Ripe'.
Other favourites from the track list include 'Love Gets Sweeter', a delightful love tune by Keith Rowe, and Hezron's 'Keep On Keeping On', a track with a strong Beres Hammond feel.
The entire album was conceived as a showcase release, with both the mix and mastering once again handled by Roberto Sanchez.
