However, this isn't exactly a "new" album, as the track list is largely made up of fresh takes on songs previously found on releases like 'Deepest' (opener 'A Drop In The Ocean'), 'Red' ('Freedom'), 'Wadada' ('Observe') and 'Dub Drops' ('New Slavery' and closing/bonus track 'Roof Knocking').

Vocalist Michela Grena's English isn't always accent-free, so our personal highlights from the track list are the hypnotic 'Bird In Hand', where Grena opts for Sanskrit, the fully instrumental 'Perseverance', in which Bearzatti unleashes his inner saxophone demons, and the energetic drum & bass closer and bonus track 'Roof Knocking'.

'Jazz My Dub' may not mark a completely new chapter in Wicked Dub Division's story, but it's a sophisticated exercise in which jazz, dub, and roots seamlessly meet.
