Red Stripe apologizes to Assasin (Irie FM News)
Will dancehall deejay Assassin accept the apology from Red Stripe after they pulled him off stage at their Red Stripe Live Show last Saturday? Well, Red Stripe has since issued an apology to Assassin for the premature end to his performance.
The release further states that Red Stripe is grateful that Assassin
supported its first live event to raise funds for its learning for life
initiative and sincerely regrets that his performance was cut short.
Nevertheless, when Music News contacted Assassin’s management, Donovan
Germaine said the deejay will not comment on the issue at this time.
Music News reported this week that Assassin was disgruntled after Red
Stripe ended his performance prematurely for a line in his single Pre
This during his performance at Sabina Park.
The “versatile” deejay explained that the representatives from Red
Stripe were given a copy of the song and that they were also present
during rehearsals where he did the said song in its entirety. (Irie FM News)
