Vuvuzelas
Gentleman was given a vuvuzela during his show. "No disrespect to the vuvuzela, but I burn vuvuzelas". Gentleman blow in it and produce the now famous sound "U hear, it can only play one tone, fire pon vuvuzelas" and then he asked a solo from his excellent saxophonist... Nothing compares...
Drummer
Don't know the name of the man, don't even know the name of the band... Those guys who were supposed to back Junior Reid... But the drummer alone made the concert worth it ! Big up man anywhere U deh !
Tribute
Of course, almost every reggae act on the festival had to pay a tribute to the late great Sugar Minott... One point to Mr Vegas with the Herbsman Husling and two points for MC Navigator on Friday night with a wicked tribute inna Junglist style...
Damian and Nas
Saturday nite, around 4AM, heard in a mix in the Club Circuit tent : As We Enter by Damina Marley and Nas... Wicked!
Cleanliness
Never seen the festival look so clean... Nuff people collecting plastic cups and bottles to get free drinks... Make U even feel to keep your own until U see one of those guys and offer dem...
Rasta in No Bullshit festi-zine
"Pauvre rasta errant : venu pour voir ses 'bros' de Inna De Yard All Stars, il ne disposait pas du bracelet ad hoc pour passer les contrôles de sécurité. A midi, il était don ccondamné à attendre quelques heures au coin d'une rue dans l'espoir que le groupe passerait par là et accepterait de l'inscrire sur leur liste d'invités. Tout ça avec le cadavre de Paul le Poulpe sur la tête. Dour, parfois, c'est vraiment la nouvelle Babylone."
Hidden place
One of the most secret and hard to find places in the festival : "Le Petit Bois", chill out zone limited to 80 people, where our friends from the Raggaravane been playing vibes for three days inside their caravane!
Crowd
The biggest reggae crowd of the weekend goes out to the come-back of Raggasonic.
Surprise!
Met this couple from Sweden. The guy just can't believe it : "You Belgians are just smoking weed all over the place like it's not illegal..." And later on : "You Belgians can just stand in the dance and build your spliffs like that!" Welcome to Beljam !

Inna De Yard All Stars no joke with their sponsors : all of them wore a complete Adadas sport suit : red, blue, yellow and white... Adidas reaches everywhere, even inna de rastaman backyard !
Etnhic flip
Coming back from the reggae.be stand on the market, spotted a Malian band playing Traditional Touareg folk/ rock'n'roll style.... Had to sit for a while and enjoy. Check it it's called Tinariwen !
Scanner
With a VIP badge, you are scanned each time you enter or leave the site "Check in" "Check Out" says the machine !
Farmer
Big up to the young rasta who carried his "Freedom to Farm" signboard all over the festival during four days !
