Well, a long time the word about Saimn-I was on the streets but me haffi come out and pay due to my roots... I came to earth (Bruges) on May 11th 1984 & I started music in the early 90's playing several musical instruments like recorder, violin & clarinet. Bought my first elektric guitar and started to play blues & funk, inspired by my fathers record collection. I played in local Bruges bands since '98 and soon picked up 2 turntables and 1 microphone, x-perimenting with soundsystem, scratching and mc-ing. That time dub, triphop, jungle & jazz were a heavy source of inspiration!!
Formed SOULJAH SOUND in 2000 with Ira & DJ Fallus, collaboratin' with Kay See and Basscake. Nuff Respex.
We formed WRONG 'EM BOYO late 2001 settin' a blazin ploitical statement, later involved with Lappersfront. ACTIVIST MUSIC 4 ACTIVIST PEOPLE!!
In 2003 I joined FORWARD FEVER SOUND on the mic, toastin' with mi bredrins RAS CLOUD, OZI ONE & CHARJAN.. Later on I&I formed YOUTHS & CULTURE, organizing your DEEP ROOTS sessions. That year I met youth ORIGINAL MESSENJAH ina ragamuffin stylee, forming LYRICAL TWINS...
Sekkled in Ghent and created music since in da BOOMROOM producing mixtapez & tunes.
In 2005 I became the host of "BUCK UP DAT SOUND" on www.urgent.fm 105.3fm ghent area(mondayz 21-22h), a weekly Reggae-Dub Show with Selecta WaXX & GeneralJonee. LISTEN ON-LINE www.urgent.fm!!! Played keyboards with ROOTS TRAIN ROCKERS from that same time on to end 2007.. In 2007 joined GIRAFFE SOUND as MC with Messenjah & Invisible bram www.girafferecords.be.
Since 2008 you can catch me for singing-coaching at kinky-star academy on www.kinkystar.be, joined PURA VIDA (productionz) on organ/vocals, created a band with MC Original Messenjah, became a sound-engineer ina dubwise styleeee!!!! And we come fi mash up your town!!!
