Highsession is a 3 member sound: 1 selecta (Clashfaya) and two MC's (Jr. H & Masterblaster). Highsession plays a wide variety of selections from Ska to Ragga/Dancehall/Soca, passing by Roots and 80'-90's Digital. Our mission is to make you dance but we also let you discover the immense richness of the Carribean culture. Founded in 2004, Highsession already played in many cities in France (Lille, Paris, Amiens, Lorient, Strasbourg, Dunkerque, Nantes,...), Belgium (Brussels, Motown, K-Town, Ghent, Luik, Ostend,...) but also in Germany (Essen, Berlin, Mulheim,...) and participated at festivals like MEKITBURN, STREET ART, ZIKENSTOCK, RUHR REGGAE SUMMER... alongside many sounds and bands like Jahwed, Lightning, Crossculcha, Dirty Ragga Squad, Toubabskank, Ivory Sound, Addiss Ivory, Fundamental, Boom-A-Ranks, Truth & Rigth, Skylarkin’ Sound, Samurai Movement, Uruhu Sound, East End Rock, 12 Sound, Dr. Ring Ding, Lord J and many many others!
In 2007, Highsession won the North Cup Reggae Soundclash that assured the notority of the North Champion after one and only participation.
In 2008, Highsession becomes an association (Highertainment), whom the goal is to promote reggae and its artists at numberous events.
In 2009, The Highsession family becomes bigger with the arrival of Thomas aka Masterblaster [Skylarkin'] from Belgium (Mc). More faya!
