Mystic Breeze Collective
Organisation / Promotor & Soundsystem from Antwerpen specialized in:
- New Roots
- Ragga
- Reggae
- Rocksteady
- Roots
- Ska
Before the Collective was born, Mighty Nyah had a one-man-sound, often ruling bashments in the Southern Antwerp suburbs and at festivals like Candela and Hove Live.
Kinja, Pachapapa and Movhisattva emanated from the Circus Karot group, where they represented the reggae-alliance, organizing bashments like the Dub-me-Crazy-series, the BigBash-series, Iriesistable...
The actual fusion started in october 2005 at the 3th BigBash, where they played together and proved worthy to join each others ranks. Soon after, a new sound, Mystic Breeze Collective, was officially born.
In 2006 Rimshot became a member of the Collective as the soundsystems engineer, although he originally flourished in the hiphop and drum&bass scene. In October 2006 famouz Amoz joined forces, while Pachapapa took a step back to explore the dubscene more profoundly. 2009 brought, again, two more members: Muznah flew in as 2nd engineer next to Rimshot, and Walterz was launched as Mystic Breezes new selector fresh & clean, feeling the music.
Through the years Mystic Breeze was responsible for organizing several bashments&concerts in and around Antwerp, such as the Haul&Pull Up and Wake The Town series. Needless to say, they ve been mashing dances ever since their foundation.
