COOLIE RIDDIM started as a bday dancehallparty!
By the great succes of it, it will become one of the biggest dancehallparty's in Ghent-city!
The name 'COOLIE RIDDIM' was an idea of Souchke (the headorganisator). She's indian and we all know how jamaican people call indian gyals that love dancehall: 'Coolie gyalz'. And like we all know is the coolie dance riddim one of the popular riddims in jamaica so it was crystal clear that this name was the best way to name the party!
We all agree Dancehallmusic has to be promoted more! So that's why we want to do something about the mixed partiez where dancehall is mixed with hiphop, eclictic music and r&b! Dancehall is a genre that has its own crowd and is more than only sean paul!
So COOLIE RIDDIM is 100% dancehall (included RAGGA & reggae)
The love for dancehall is the most important aspect! COOLIE RIDDIM wants all the diehard fans to party to the fullest and supports new massive with their first experience with the music - partiez - one love vibes and the DAGGAmoves!!!
We don't want to be a commercial party! We want to bring good partiez where true love and spirit are central!
