Groundation is considered as one of the best live bands on stage in the actual reggae scene. These skillful musicians outta California are coming back to Europe on tour, to introduce a unique concept-show «Tribute To Bob Marley» and pay the respects to Bob Marley who died 30 years ago.

GROUNDATION - «Tribute To Bob Marley»

The « Tribute to Bob Marley » experience started ten years ago in the US. In 2000 Groundation decided to give honors to Bob Marley and dedicated a tour to him. This tour had a great success. This is why, since ten years, Groundation organizes every February (month in which Bob Marley was born, 6 February 1945) a «Tribute To bob Marley Tour ».
This showcase is not aimed at simply playing the music of the King of Reggae, or merely his biggest hits. On the contrary, Groundation offers unique musical pieces, revisiting the music of Marley with their own touch and sound, dynamic with some jazz influences.

Nog vlug even meegeven dat ik straks vanaf 23u 5 duotickets zal weggeven voor Groundation in de Petrol. Luister naar Dub Front op fmbrussel op de 98.8fm of via onze website (www.fmbrussel.be)en met een beetje geluk kan je er volgende week gratis in!
Verder oa. nieuwe tunes van African Head Charge en Stephen Marley en pre-releases van Unlisted Fanatic en Citizen Sound en nog dingen......

Ik had eerst vernomen dat Groundation om 21u30 zou beginnen, maar ondertussen lees ik dit op de website van Petrol zelf:

Ik vond het een super optreden. Ik kende deze groep niet goed, maar dankzij het ticket dat ik hier won ben ik fan voor het leven.
En hoogmis was het. Wat een positieve kracht dat de zanger uitstraalt en dat gecombineerd met top-muzikanten.

btw: backstage gezien dat jah rebel een interview met Harrison Stafford afnam -> benieuwd!
