Ik ga mij niet moeien in de discussie rond de 'package', gewoon efkes meegeven dat 'Building an Ark' alweer een sterk stukje muziek is. Zit er al 2 dagen non-stop naar te luisteren.

Ik zal dit weekend een eerste track uploaden op mijn Dub Vibes pagina op 22tracks (http://www.22tracks.com/bru#dub), kunnen jullie alvast beginnen luisteren nog voor hij in de winkel ligt.
Volgende week woensdag volgen meer nummers in Dub Front, mijn radioshow op fmbrussel (elke woensdag vanaf 23u op 98.8fm of via www.fmbrussel.be en steeds te herbeluisteren via: http://www.fmbrussel.be/programmas/dub_front.aspx)

Het hart van de Vlaamse reggae klopt in de Lost Ark Studio van Pura Vida. Eerder brachten zij samen met de legendarische reggaeband The Congos het gesmaakte We Nah Give Up uit. Nu komt er een live vervolg.

Verwacht je aan een heel gevarieerde setlist. Oud materiaal, nieuwe nummers, songs uit We Nah Give Up en – aangezien Heart of The Congos altijd een van de inspiratiebronnen van Pura Vida is geweest- zal deze legendarische plaat zeker en vast ook de revue passeren. Niet te missen!

We Nah Give Up door Pura Vida & The Congos kreeg vijf sterren in De Standaard: ”Het is van 1977 geleden toen hun legendarische ‘Heart of The Congos’ verscheen, dat The Congos nog eens zo goed begeleid werden.”

Na het concert is er nog een dj-set door Soul Shakers.
